So I have had cornea erosion problems for at least 2-2 1/2 years. I believe it started because I moved to an area where there is TONS of pollution.

I had to go to the emergency room the first time I felt pain & it was terrible.

They then referred me to an eye specialist & of course her solution after only 5 minutes of talking to me was, spend $1,000 which I don’t have & to do surgery. I said NO WAY!

She & the hospital wanted me to use chemical drops which I did off & on, but of course that doesn’t solve the problem & I don’t like chemicals. Their solution was to mask the problem.

While I eventually had a few months of peace, eventually things started to get worse. I would wake up in the middle of my sleep crying out in pain. At first when it got bad I couldn’t see clearly for about 2 hours after I woke up. Then things got sooo bad, it would take 5 hours for my eye to see clearly. By the time I moved to another area things were sooo bad, it was taking 2 days for me to be able to see. I was very scared I was going to lose my eye sight in that one eye.

Early on I had been using eye bright which is an herb for the eyes. Unfortunately I was ignorant & not thinking clearly. I had used loose tea since that’s what I had my cupboard. Even though I strained the eye bright tea, tiny bits of the tea would still float around in the tea & when I went to soak a napkin in it & squeeze the tea in my eye, I’m sure those bits went into my eye. Not smart! It probably made things worse.

Then I eventually figured out they sold eye bright in tea bags. There are only 2 companies I know of who sell it that way. Here is the first company that sells eye bright tea.

Here is the first Eyebright Tea in bags option.

Here is the second company that sells eye bright tea. This is a 3 pack.

After that I started folding the napkin into a little square, soaking it in the eye bright tea & placing it on my eye.  For a little while that helped the eye attacks after I woke up in pain in the middle of the night. Then because eventually that stopped helping, I had to put the soaked square on my eye when going to bed, but eventually that wasn’t helping either.

Then one day I talked to someone who studies herbs. He recommended carrot & aloe juice. Literally putting it into the eye. It helps with eye infections, but my cornea erosion isn’t an eye infection.

I didn’t do the carrot juice, but I did start taking fresh aloe, cutting off a piece, cutting it open & then I wiped it over my eye (with my lid closed of course). I didn’t juice it as I didn’t want it to go to waste or go bad quickly. The first day I did it, it burned a bit, so I was a little worried.

I did this several times a day over a week’s time, & I haven’t woken up in pain since. I was shocked that this solved the problem because I love aloe vera & usually always have a plant in my house if they don’t die on me. It’s just amazing what this plant will do.

I searched high & low for an all natural solution to the cornea erosion & never found one, so if you also have cornea erosion, I hope this all natural remedy helps you.
